The location in the historical centre is the best thing about this hotel.
elevators work with room cards, something I have never seen in a hotel, only in banks and high security places. cards don't work well and several times we were locked in without the elevator moving and it was not pleasant at all, aggravated by the tiny size of the elevators (only 2 people enter). car park is impossible to park, either the ticket didn't work or we were told to tell the reception to open the barrier and one of us ended up going to warn on the street because they didn't know. They never got rid of it. Anyway, we were only in the hotel for a short time, parking/lift issue was exhausting. Noisy street: on the street where one of our rooms was, noises and shouts could be heard until 5 in the morning.

Excellent Location for Beach, shops and Bars/Restaurants. Quiet location just round corner from main bus stops/tram stop and Beach + Marina. Staff friendly and helpful , rooms very clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast good value. Airport bus stop just 30 metres round corner from Hotel. Castle within easy walking distance and can get an Elevator nearby to the top of the Castle if you're not up to walking up there.
Might have been nice for Hotel to have it's own Bar , tho' plenty of Bars nearby.

The location is absolutely excellent for the local attractions - right next to Postiguet beach, the Explanada, Castillo de Santa Barbara, and the Plaza de Ayuntamiento. Walking distance to everything - great for families with small children. The staff, particularly the concierge Javier, were very nice and helpful.
The location is absolutely awful for sleeping on the weekend - near all the clubs and bars, so it's very loud outside the windows until very late in the evening (like 4 or 5). Try to get a room on the highest floor possible to lessen this. It wasn't loud on other nights, though.

It's very friendly and comfortable.
I have stayed here two or three times now but I think this is the first time I have been there at a weekend. El problema no es del hotel, es del botellón o de la disco fuera. O sea , el ruido de madrugada. Es una pena porque el hotel es bien equipado, muy céntrico y no es caro.

The location is excellent for everything, including the airport bus and the tram to towns to the east. Lots of nearby restaurants too.
I had trouble sleeping one Saturday night because of many young people from the club Papparazzi gathering and making noise on the street. I understand you can't control this, but it affects my memory of my stay.

very king staff; excellent location - 3 minutes walking from the beach and quiet at the same time, 15 minutes walking from the center; it was a very pleasant stay, so, we are happy with this choice and we'll probably stay here again next time we come to Alicante.
if the the dust in the wardrobe and mould on the corners of the bathroom shower door are better cleaned, the room is very good.
